Sensor Systems, Inc produces more than 200 types of aircraft antennas and has been the leader in aviation antennas for over 50 years.  Sensor Systems products provide several benefits including their major contributions to the industry of a patented, all-metal, one-piece-cast antenna. This eliminates “P” static and offers high electrical efficiency, greater mechanical strength and longer service life than fiberglass antennas. Another important feature of their products is D.C. grounding to provide lightning protection. Due to these and other features, Sensor Systems’ hermetically sealed antennas are still operating with high reliability and efficiency long after most antennas have exhausted their useful life.

DAR Services William Gallacher is the Q.A Manager and an FAA-DAR-T (Designated Airworthiness Representative – Maintenance) at Mitchell Aircraft in Cary IL. He has been authorized by the FAA to provide Maintenance DAR-T services, as described below. Maintenance DAR Functions and Limitations: Articles only Function Code 32 – Issue Original/recurrent domestic and/or export airworthiness approvals for engines, propellers and or articles manufactured in accordance with 14 CFR part 21. Experience Mr. Gallacher has been in the aviation industry for over 38 years. His career started in the Royal Air Force (UK) as an aircraft mechanic where he served for over 10 years. Always within the aircraft maintenance industry he continued into civil aviation as an aircraft mechanic and progressed through to management positions within maintenance organizations of various major airlines & companies in the USA & Europe. He has held an FAA A&P license for over 20 years and has operated an FAA 145 repair station for a globally recognized organization. His experience embraces a wide area of aviation in both civil and military aviation applications. Mr. Gallacher is currently the Q.A. Manager at Mitchell Aircraft and provides FAA-DAR services.
